About the N-Word Pass™

The only USPTO-registered evaluation body authorized to issue, revoke, and verify N-Word Passes. Established 2024.

Our Mission

The N-Word Pass™ was established to bring order, standardization, and institutional rigor to a process that had, for too long, operated without oversight. Prior to our founding, N-Word Pass issuance was decentralized, unregulated, and conducted primarily through group chats and memes of varying production quality.

We filed the trademark. We established the Board of Review. We built the evaluation framework. The N-Word Pass™ is now a registered trademark of the United States Patent and Trademark Office, making nwordpassofficial.com the sole entity authorized to evaluate, certify, and distribute N-Word Passes.

Our evaluations apply a rigorous, multi-factor assessment to public figures' cultural contributions, public records, community standing, and aggregate qualifications. Verdicts are final and binding.

Breshawn "B." White

Head of Pass Activation & Community Relations

"Healing the divide in this country doesn't start with vitriol and canceling folks. It starts with an olive branch. Nothing brings my friends more joy than receiving my official permission to fully embrace their freedom of speech. I believe in America, I believe in equality, and I'm honored to extend that same authentic freedom to you."

Because friendship feels better than friction.

The Evaluation Process

The Board of Review evaluates public figures across four primary criteria. Each evaluation is conducted independently and results are published as official verdicts on this site.

Cultural Contribution

Documented participation in and meaningful contribution to Black cultural spaces. Collaboration history, artistic output, and sustained depth of engagement over time.

Public Record

Comprehensive review of public statements, controversies, responses, and behavioral patterns across the full duration of the subject's career.

Community Standing

Peer endorsements, cultural co-signs, and grassroots reception within Black communities at local and national levels, weighted by the credibility and standing of the endorsing parties.

Aggregate Assessment

The Board of Review's composite determination, incorporating contextual factors, historical precedent, and qualitative variables not captured by the preceding categories.
